Risdon & Risdon are extremely proud to be supporting The Burnt Chef Project to raise awareness of mental health within the hospitality industry. In a recent survey, it found 84% of hospitality workers reported increased stress which was believed to be a direct consequence of their job.

The Burnt Chef Project is a not-for-profit social enterprise aiming to challenge mental health stigma and offer help to some of the 3.2M people who work within hospitality in the UK.

By supporting this initiative we want to help raise funds to train hospitality staff in mental health awareness, encourage the importance of starting a conversation and take away the stigma of mental health issues within hospitality.

We have produced from our Original range a custom apron and knife roll, as well as our popular Workroom Aprons - 5% of the sales going towards the campaign.

The Original Apron

The Original Apron available in a black 10oz cotton canvas. 

Straps made from beautiful full grain Italian black leather attached by our unique custom snap fasteners (remove before washing).

There is a generous bib pocket - plus a small hidden pocket on the inside of the bib. Three large front pockets. Adjustable neck strap with nickel plated brass buckle. Adjustable belt strap with Sam Browne stud and bridle clip. Reinforced corners. Risdon & Risdon branded post rivets on pockets. Fully washable. 100% cotton.

ADJUSTABLE BELT - Regular and Long belt available.
For a comfortable fit please measure around the widest part of the stomach.

We offer Free Repairs For Life for all of our products because we believe an important step towards sustainability is longevity.

Care instructions: Remove the straps for washing. The apron can be machine washed at up to 30°C. Wash dark colours separately. Tumble dry on a low heat. Iron on reverse. Reattach straps. 100% cotton.

Made to match our Original Apron range. This knife-roll is made from rich black cotton canvas and full grain Italian black leather straps. The 6 slots are edged with soft black leather for a beautiful looking roll.

It also comes complete with shoulder carry strap.
