Our British leather apron is the new standard for expert craftsmanship. 

The main body of the apron is cut from a single hide from master British tanners at C. F. Stead & Co who have been the leaders in suede manufacturing and pioneering tanning innovations for the last 150 years.

This leather is extremely hard wearing and resistant to stains and can be cleaned care free.

Made in reverse this leather is entirely unique in its tanning and its characteristics, it has rugged and sleek matt finish on the outside and a soft velvety nap on the inside.

It has a medium handle which allows it to quickly form to your movements.

The highly adjustable crossback straps are designed for maximum comfort and weight distribution as well as structural longevity.

These straps are made using the uniquely traditional Oak Bark bridle leather from the prestigious British tannery J. & F.J. Baker & Co who have been leading the bridle leather industry since it also began 150 years ago and remain as the sole makers of Oak Bark tanned bridle leather famed for its quality feel and its strength and stability. 

Finally we have applied our metalware from a British foundry with its Royal Warrant.

We have enhanced the design of this apron by using panels all cut from a single hide and reinforcing them, we do not hold back on the structural details applying a hem to the apron for maximum strength and lasting structural integrity.

You can add to this apron yourself by working with our designers to create bespoke pockets and attachments directly for what you need.

Our Street range of aprons are made from tough 10oz traditional denim. The indigo shade comes from the very sustainable Candiani denim mill just outside of Milan - also available in a stylish black - the aprons are tied with smart cork straps.

We have designed an apron that looks good, with practical styling...and like all our aprons...the straps can be taken off quickly for machine washing and drying.

Part of our Lightweight Leather series. The Houlston boasts a natural grain with a built in distressed look. It has a fixed finish that is completely resistant to spills and wipes clean. Perfect protection for working in the garage, garden or the kitchen.

Part of our Lightweight Leather series, the Balderton is an instant classic. It has rich colours with a strong pull up to it, it will scuff and it will buff but it also has a great finish that is extremely resistant to spillages and can be simply wiped clean. A perfect all purpose no leather care apron.

They are also finished with full-grain Italian leather details. he Apron features multiple pockets and easy-to-adjust leather straps. The Artisan Bag offers generous storage for keeping the tools organised while working in the garden. These two items are a gardening must-have.

The Original Apron with Leather Trim and Canvas Market Bag were among the first products we developed when we began trading from a small stall in Shrewsbury's Market Hall. At the time, the space was filled with long-established fruit and vegetable stands, butchers, and cheesemongers. Working in that environment shaped our early approach. Creating durable, well-made items that suited both practical use and our everyday routines. These designs have remained part of our core range since those early days.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Remove the straps for washing. The apron can be machine washed at up to 30°C. Wash dark colours separately. Tumble dry on a low heat. Iron on reverse. Reattach straps. Due to the natural dyes there may be some colour fading over time.

We have designed an apron that looks good, with practical styling and like all our aprons, the straps can be taken off quickly for machine washing and drying.

 It's finally here! A versatile cotton canvas apron with cross back straps. The straps are made from Cork with cotton webbing. Held on by poppers they are easily removed for washing. The two patch pockets are reinforced by our branded rivets.
