British Workroom Apron

Our new British Workroom apron is made using beautiful cotton canvas fabric woven in a 200 year old Lancashire mill, dyed in Yorkshire and then made up in to aprons in our workroom in Shropshire.

Manufactured exclusively for Risdon & Risdon, only a limited amount of the fabric has been woven and once they are gone they won't be repeated.

Available in 4 rich colours, with a choice of Ivory or Black straps, the aprons are incredibly robust and suitable for all tasks.

Apron measures 83cm from the top of bib to hem and 71cm wide.

Available in all our beautiful 10oz cotton canvas colours and Indigo Denim. Read why our Original apron is so special here. Choose straps in either the finest Italian leather or beautiful Portuguese cork.

Bib pocket sewn in two sections - there is also a small hidden pocket on the inside of the bib on size 8+. Three roomy front pockets. Adjustable neck strap with nickel plated brass buckle. Adjustable belt strap with Sam Browne stud and miniature clip. Reinforced corners. Risdon & Risdon branded post rivets on pockets. Fully washable. 100% cotton.

The straps are attached by handy poppers for easy removal for washing the apron.

2 - 5 years - top of bib to hem - 45cm. Adjustable belt fits waist up to 68cm.

4 - 7 years - top of bib to hem - 55cm. Adjustable belt fits waist up to 72cm.

The Special Edition Risdon Tote Bag

Our Special Edition Tote Bag is stylish, practical and ideal for all occasions.

They come in a choice of two beautiful colours

Both are made from a British woven dry wax canvas. Dry wax is different to traditional waxed cotton in that a special wax is blended within the fibres rather than applied to the surface of the cloth. This gives it a durable water repellent finish but the feel is soft and smooth rather than waxy.

The straps are hand cut from hides of stunning genuine Horween leather. They will only get more beautiful with age. The bags have a soft black canvas lining which easily fits a laptop in, projects, files, tools, shopping. It has two large pockets inside, plus a key pocket near the top.

Risdon & Risdon co-founders Carla and James both use these bags as their everyday bag!

Dimensions: 44cm x 44cm x 13cm.

The Artisan Apron

Formerly known as The Gardener's Apron,

Here is our beautifully styled and practical Artisan apron. Available in a rich, closely woven cotton or a sturdy denim - each with full grain Italian leather pockets and straps.

The neck and waist straps are adjustable using metalware cast in a British foundry.

The apron features 5 generous pockets suitable for carrying all your tools and necessities. There is a pocket with a handy eyelet guide especially for string.

The leather belt has a D-ring fastener and so can fit a wide range of sizes up to 54".

Dimensions: 83cm from the top of the bib to the hem, 70cm wide.

Please indicate in Order Note if you would like a left-handed pocket arrangement.

Care instructions: Hand wash at up to 30°C. Do not soak the leather for too long. Reshape while damp. Do not spin. Do not tumble dry. Line dry. Iron fabric on reverse.
